Passing of Active Senior Staff Instructor and Retired Littleton Fire Captain Jeffrey Whitcomb

Concord, NH – New Hampshire Department of Safety Commissioner Robert L. Quinn, Division of Fire Standards and Training and Emergency Medical Services Director Justin A. Cutting, and Littleton Fire Chief Michael McQuillen announce the passing of active senior staff instructor and retired Littleton Fire Captain Jeffrey Whitcomb.

Captain Whitcomb is a 24 year veteran of the Littleton Fire & Rescue Department, retiring in 2015. Captain Whitcomb served the New Hampshire Fire & EMS Academy as a senior staff instructor since 1997 teaching and training hundreds of New Hampshire fire service colleagues.

Our thoughts are with Captain Whitcomb's family, colleagues and friends. His passing is a tragic loss to the New Hampshire fire service community and beyond.
